Jacob “Buzz” Buskirk is a musician and producer from the village of Norris, Illinois. He doesn’t worry much about fitting into a genre. Instead, he follows ideas wherever they lead, blending sounds and textures into something that feels honest and original. His music moves between moods and styles without asking permission, shaped more by instinct than expectation.

Fusion Mellow

Fusion Mellow is a funky blues and jam-rock band from Peoria, Illinois, delivering deep jams and far-out original tunes with a touch of tasty arranged covers. Forming in the summer of 2023, the group consists of Chas Eyster on lead guitar, Jerry Hendricks delivering the low end on bass, Paul Heine and Jacob “Buzz” Buskirk hammering the skins on drums, and Jon Anthony on the ivory keys. The band’s name encapsulates all of the members’ different styles, influences, and backgrounds while blending them all into one harmonious entity. The quartet will get your body moving and your mind bending with their groovin’ psychedelic sounds and improvisation. Close your eyes and let their music take you to places filled with excitement and imagination.

Khun-Tree Jerry

Emerging from the cornfields of downstate Illinois with a guitar in hand, KhunTree Jerry plays the kind of American roots music that gets feet stompin’ and heads noddin’. A graduate of Western Illinois University with a BA in Music, Jerry now calls Peoria, IL home, where he gigs regularly and brings his high-energy folk and Americana sound to stages across the region.

Deeply rooted in traditional American music, Jerry draws from old-time, country, and folk influences, honoring the sounds that shaped generations before him. His mission is simple: keep the spirit of traditional music alive while delivering it with grit, heart, and a little back-porch fire.
